Data & AI Governance Lead - Financial Services

About the role

This role oversees data and AI governance across a leading regional financial services firm.

Key responsibilitie

• sBuild and maintain data and AI governance frameworks, policies, standards, and guidelines. Keep them current with regulatory requirements and business needs
• .Support the department's communication strategy to raise data literacy and data management awareness
• .Refine and embed data and AI governance practices to establish clear ownership and accountability
• .Guide business units to meet their goals in a compliant, effective, and efficient manner through data and technology
• .Design and implement monitoring approaches for data cataloguing, lineage, and usage
• .Provide oversight to country offices and subsidiaries to ensure governance practices and standards stay aligned

What we're looking f

• orDegree from a recognized institution. 8+ years total experience, including 3+ years in data or AI governance, data management, audit, or compliance within insurance or financial service
• s.Detail-oriented and analytical, with strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skill
• s.Solid grasp of data management disciplines, including master/reference data management and data quality managemen
• t.Strong change management skills, ideally from organizational transformation program
• s.Experience operationalizing governance processes is a plu
• s.Experience in IT Service Management is a plu
• s.Familiarity with data architecture and current technology landscape (cloud, data warehousing, AI/ML
