Dance Artiste

Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre (SCDT) is a local professional dance company, supported under the National Arts Council funding scheme since 2013. SCDT is currently looking to recruit full-time dancers who have positive work traits, a strong sense of professionalism and team spirit to join SCDT for seasons 2025 and 2026.

Qualification:

1. Possess strong dance technique and performing experiences, preferably trained in Chinese dance

2. Hold at least a professional dance diploma under a recognised arts tertiary institution

3. Able to work on weekends and public holidays, subjected to irregular work scheduling

4. Possess a good image, good character, career professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Acquire and maintain high levels of technical proficiency, physical ability and fitness

2. Attend company classes, rehearsals and company programmes

3. Undergo professional training

4. Conduct classes and choreograph for the Company as requested

Benefits:

1. Monthly salary from S$2,800 (based on qualification and experience)

2. 24-month contract (renewable), with benefits including year-end bonus, paid annual leave, medical allowance, and training allowance

3. Entitled to 14 days of annual leave and 14 days of sick leave.
