Job Summary

You will prepare and revise detailed technical drawings, manage project costs, and assist in contract administration to support successful interior fit-out, renovation, and construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings to support project execution
  • Interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate technical drawings for construction use
  • Revise drawings based on site conditions and project requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, regulations, and quality standards
  • Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions to support project budgeting and procurement
  • Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to optimize project costs and quality
  • Prepare progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts to maintain accurate financial records
  • Monitor project costs and budgets to ensure financial control and timely delivery
  • Assist in contract administration and maintain comprehensive project documentation for audit and reference

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience in interior fit-out, renovation, or construction projects to enhance project understanding and execution
  • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related field to support technical knowledge
  • Good knowledge of construction materials and costing to improve accuracy in estimates and procurement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and quantity take-off to efficiently manage project data and calculations
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills to support cost management and supplier coordination
  • Good communication and coordination skills to facilitate effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement
  • Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience to ensure familiarity with project workflows and industry standards
