About Our Client
Our client is a leading global financial services firm with an established presence across foreign exchange and institutional markets. As part of its continued growth in Asia, the organisation is looking to appoint a Head of FX Sales, Asia to drive regional business development and expand its institutional client franchise.
Reporting into the Global Head of FX, this is a highly visible role responsible for originating new business, developing strategic client relationships, and driving the firm's FX sales activities across Asia whilst working closely with European counterparts.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive new business development across institutional FX markets in Asia
• Promote the firm's electronic FX trading capabilities, platforms and connectivity solutions
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to grow revenue and market share
• Build and manage long-term client relationships while providing ongoing commercial support
• Work closely with European colleagues and cross-functional teams across Trading, Operations, Legal and Compliance to support client onboarding and execution
• Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities across the region
• Report business performance and pipeline updates to senior management
Requirements
• At least 8 - 10 years experience in institutional FX Sales with strong exposure to electronic trading and eFX products
• Proven track record in originating and winning new business
• Existing transferable institutional client relationships would be advantageous
• Strong understanding of electronic trading platforms, connectivity and market structure
• Commercially driven with excellent relationship management, communication and stakeholder management skills
