Job Description
Jurong Port's multipurpose port operating expertise includes efficient handling of general, bulk and containerized cargo, management and operations of the Tuas Offshore Marine Centre, and Lighter Terminals in Penjuru and Marina South. Besides Singapore, Jurong Port is involved in overseas joint ventures in China and Indonesia. In 2016, Jurong Port's local and overseas terminals handled close to 35 million tons of general and bulk cargo, and 560,000 TEUs of container cargo.
As a Cybersecurity Specialist at Jurong Port, you will be responsible for the administration, operation and continuous improvement of the organisation's cybersecurity platforms, controls and governance process. The role covers cybersecurity operations, incident response and vulnerability management, working closely with internal IT teams and external service providers to maintain a strong cybersecurity posture.
The Job
- Manage and maintain in-house cybersecurity platforms and security tools, including endpoint protection, WAF, VMS, and other security solutions.
- Monitor, investigate and respond to security events and alerts from cybersecurity platforms and tools, perform tuning to improve detection effectiveness, and coordinate remediation actions with relevant stakeholders.
- Perform and coordinate cybersecurity incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, root cause analysis, documentation and improvement actions.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and compliance scans and work with IT and application teams to remediate security weaknesses in a timely manner.
- Provide cybersecurity advisory support for infrastructure, system and application designs to ensure security considerations are identified early.
- Support cybersecurity audit activities, compliance assessments and regulatory requirements, including evidence preparation and follow-up on audit findings.
- Review and update cybersecurity policies, standards, SOPs, and operational documentation to align with current threats, technologies, and organisational requirements.
- Manage cybersecurity vendors and end-to-end procurement lifecycle for cybersecurity solutions and services.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and security technologies to enhance the organisation's security posture.
Job Requirement
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or related IT security role.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in vendor management.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, security operations, incident response processes and vulnerability management.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity technologies such as firewalls, endpoint protection platforms, WAF, VA, SIEM and PAMS solutions.
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storages, virtualisation, containers and cloud environment.
- Familiarity or exposure to cloud security (e.g. AWS, Azure) and AI-related security capabilities will be an advantage.
- Possession of recognised cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, cloud security certifications, or equivalent credentials in offensive or defensive security, incident response, or security operations will be an advantage.
