Cybersecurity Operations Engineer

Summary:

You will design, deploy, and operate enterprise security solutions, collaborating with IT teams to manage platforms, threat activities, audits, and incident readiness in line with best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Build new security engineering capabilities and enhance existing technologies in line with industry best practices.
• Deliver new security solutions, manage migrations, and ensure timely renewals.
• Maintain and update security platforms, including effective capacity planning.
• Develop and update playbooks as needed.
• Manage project rollouts, document processes, and lead deployments.
• Work closely with IT, network, and application teams for successful rollouts.
• Support vulnerability management and threat activities.
• Participate in annual audits, incident response drills, and BCP exercises.
• Review and follow up on threat intelligence from internal and external sources.

Job Requirements:

. Degree in IT, cybersecurity, or a related field.

. 3-5 years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in engineering or operations.

. Familiarity with cybersecurity engineering and best practices.

. Experience with SWG, WAF, Threat Intelligence Solutions, Vulnerability Management, SIEM, etc. is preferred.

. Knowledge of AWS and Microsoft Azure environments is preferred.

. CISSP and AWS Cloud certifications are an advantage.
