Cybersecurity Intern

Position Overview

As a BCS cybersecurity intern, you will work on real-world projects and cybersecurity operations. You will be trained as a cybersecurity practitioner, protecting things that matter. You will be assigned a mentor during your internship, and will be rotated among the key functions within the BCS Security Division.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist to develop and maintain cyber security policies, standards and procedures

• Assist to conduct cyber risks and assessments

• Assist with vulnerability assessment and compliance scans

• Assist with the maintenance of cybersecurity solutions

• Assist with cybersecurity monitoring

• Assist with cybersecurity metrics monitoring and reporting

Requirements

• Currently a student or has a confirmed offer pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Security related fields

• Prior experiences in CTFs and/or cybersecurity related internships

• Hands-on programming experience with PowerShell & Python

• Familiar with Unix, Linux and/or Windows operation systems

• Keen interests in cybersecurity

• Good communication, writing and presentation skills
