Cybersecurity Engineer, Technology Firm

Our client is an established Technology firm, and they are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen enterprise security capabilities, support cyber resilience initiatives, and ensure security platforms remain effective, scalable, and aligned with industry practices.

Role
The successful candidate will oversee the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing management of cybersecurity solutions across the enterprise environment. This includes leading security technology rollouts, coordinating with infrastructure, network, and application teams, maintaining operational playbooks, supporting vulnerability and threat management activities, and contributing to audits, incident response exercises, and business continuity readiness.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• 4-6 years of cybersecurity experience, ideally across security engineering, operations, or platform management.
• Hands-on knowledge of security tools such as SWG, WAF, SIEM, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, or related technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS and Microsoft Azure will be advantageous.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills; CISSP or AWS certifications are a plus.
