• Conduct comprehensive static, dynamic, and behavioral analysis of malicious software and potential indicators of compromise without relying on public internet tools.

• Respond to and triage real-time security threats targeting the organization through web, email, and endpoint delivery vectors.

• Extract and document indicators of compromise such as malicious domains, IP addresses, and file hashes to enhance detection controls.

• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate phishing attempts and analyze email headers to identify emerging threat actor patterns.

• Develop and maintain automated scripts and virtualized sandbox environments to streamline the analysis and remediation of security gaps.

skills and experience required.

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in malware analysis, incident response, or digital forensics within a large-scale environment.

• Technical proficiency in using advanced reverse engineering tools and behavioral monitoring utilities to examine portable executable binaries.

• Extensive knowledge of security information and event management systems, including correlation searching and forensic artifact analysis.

• Proven ability to assess web-based technologies and browser exploitation techniques used by threat actors for unauthorized access.

• Professional certification such as GCIH, GREM, GCFA, or CISSP is highly preferred to demonstrate technical competency in threat prevention.
