Cybersecurity Engineer (L2 Support)

We're looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to provide Level 2 operational support for our network and security infrastructure. This role involves incident handling, firewall and proxy management, vulnerability remediation, and supporting VPN/LAN/WAN environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 support for network security infrastructure.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and change management.
• Perform vulnerability remediation and system hardening.
• Maintain network security documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support security implementations across firewall, VPN, IPS/IDS, and proxy systems.
• Administer DNS/DHCP and remote access tools.
• Contribute to knowledge management and security awareness efforts.
• Support configuration and asset tracking (e.g., CMDB).

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of network topology and security protocols.

Hands-on experience with technologies such as:

• Cisco, Fortinet, F5, Arista, Checkpoint, Infoblox, Ivanti
• Proxy & remote access tools
• Python, Bash, Ansible (scripting)
• Wireshark, NetFlow (network analysis tools)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in:

• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Systems Analysis or equivalent
