Digital Division's IT Group (ITG) supports the IT needs for DSO's enterprise and R&D functions. ITG oversees the development and operations of core IT infrastructure, enterprise networks, and enterprise applications.
Cybersecurity Engineer
In This Role, You Will
- Support in the deployment, configuration, and commissioning of new cybersecurity appliances, systems and platforms. This will include pre-deployment planning, system testing, and acceptance validation before shifting systems to production.
- Architect and execute system integrations with existing IT infrastructure.
- Manage day-to-day administration, operation, patch management, and maintenance of security appliances and tools. This includes performing technical troubleshooting and issue resolution for security systems.
- Collaborate closely with the rest of the IT group and security operations group to drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing automation, workflow integration and process improvements.
- Perform threat risk assessments and maintain clear technical documentation, system architecture, runbooks and SOPs.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science /Cyber Security / Information Technology
- Strong hands-on technical proficiency with cybersecurity appliances.
- Experience with integrating security appliances with adjacent IT systems.
- Experience with scripting or automation for operational efficiency is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to technical troubleshooting.
- Ability to effectively collaborate across diverse technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
- 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on deploying, operating, and integrating security appliances and platforms.
