About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Cybersecurity Engineer to join our client's team and take ownership of d ay-to-day security operations across enterprise and customer-facing environments.
You'll be the technical security point-of-contact for both internal teams and customers keeping systems secure, compliant, and operationally stable.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering and customer engagement. You'll work across vulnerability management, identity and access management (IAM), and cryptographic key management and be expected to explain what you do clearly to customers, auditors, and stakeholders.
What You'll Do
Vulnerability Management
- Run network vulnerability assessments and coordinate VAPT/WAPT activities
- Analyse scan results, validate findings, and drive remediation tracking
- Maintain security posture dashboards and metrics
Identity & Access Management
- Operate and support IAM platforms (IBM ISAM preferred) including SSO, federation, and certificate lifecycle
- Troubleshoot authentication and access policy issues in production
- Support IAM integration with applications, APIs, and third-party identity providers
Cryptographic Key Management
- Operate Thales KMS and manage the full key lifecycle generation, rotation, archival, and destruction
- Support integration with applications, databases, and cloud services
- Troubleshoot encryption and key access issues
Customer & Compliance Support
- Respond to customer security queries and support audits and due-diligence assessments
- Assist with compliance requirements including ISO 27001, MAS TRM, IM8, and PCI DSS
- Produce security health reports for management and project stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- 3-6 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in an operational role
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, or similar)
- Practical experience with IAM platforms, preferably IBM ISAM
- Hands-on exposure to key management systems, ideally Thales KMS
- Solid grasp of cryptographic concepts: PKI, TLS, encryption at rest and in transit
- Familiarity with Linux and troubleshooting production security platforms
- Strong communication skills you'll engage directly with customers and auditors
Nice to Have
- Experience in regulated or government environments
- Cloud security and cloud KMS integration exposure
- Security certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or relevant vendor certifications
