We're partnering with a Security Solutions Provider who are looking for an an experienced Cybersecurity professional to be part of their Managed Services team, providing critical security operations for their clients.
About the Role:
This is an opportunity for a hands-on cybersecurity professional who combines deep technical expertise with team management skills. You'll be involved with both Day 1 (deployment) and Day 2 (ongoing operations) functions, leading a team of engineers responsible for maintaining critical security infrastructure. You'll manage incident response, vulnerability management, security audits, and ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory standards.
What You'll Do:
- Monitor and maintain critical security tools, firewalls, antivirus, and IDS/IPS systems
- Identify, investigate, and respond to security incidents with first-level troubleshooting
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and implement patch management programs
- Support security audits and ensure compliance with security best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams, network engineers, and stakeholders on security measures
- Maintain comprehensive documentation on security procedures and incidents
What We're Looking For:
- Ideally 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity maintenance or IT security operations
- Expertise in one or more cybersecurity domains (Endpoint Protection, Network Security, IAM)
- Strong knowledge of security tools, firewalls, antivirus software, and IDS/IPS systems
- Understanding of vulnerability assessment, patch management, and security audit procedures
- Professional certifications in cybersecurity solutions (CISSP preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Team-oriented with strong customer service mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Nice to Have:
- CISSP or equivalent advanced certifications, Container Security experience, Key Management Systems knowledge, SIEM platform experience, or compliance/regulatory background (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.).
