Cybersecurity Engineer (AI & Cloud Systems)

Overview
As a Cybersecurity Engineer specialising in AI and Cloud Systems, you will play a key role in ensuring the security and integrity of cloud, on-premises, hybrid, and AI-enabled environments across their full lifecycle.
This role focuses on secure design, implementation, and advisory-supporting modern AI-driven systems while embedding strong cybersecurity practices.
Key Responsibilities
AI Implementation & Maintenance
- Support secure design and deployment of AI solutions and associated cloud infrastructure
- Implement security controls including network segmentation, identity and access management (IAM), and secrets management
- Integrate security monitoring into AI and cloud environments
- Ensure infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines incorporate robust security practices
- Harden cloud environments in line with industry benchmarks and best practices
Cybersecurity Project Advisory
- Provide security consultancy across cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), on-premises, and hybrid environments
- Conduct threat modelling, security architecture reviews, and risk assessments
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards
AI Security Research
- Monitor emerging risks in AI/ML security and evolving threat frameworks
- Translate research insights into actionable security recommendations and improvements
Requirements
- Degree in AI/ML, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or technical risk management
- Strong understanding of security principles across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
- Familiarity with threat modelling and risk assessment methodologies
- Good understanding of AI/ML security risks and best practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
