Role Overview
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Data Analyst to support advanced cyber operations in a high-impact environment. The role focuses on analyzing large datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and potential threats, helping organizations detect and respond to cyber risks proactively. You will work closely with cybersecurity teams to generate actionable insights and support timely intervention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine and interpret data to detect patterns and trends that signal potential cybersecurity threats.
• Create and validate threat-hunting hypotheses using quantitative and statistical approaches.
• Produce insights and evidence that support informed decision-making.
• Share intelligence with cybersecurity teams to facilitate prompt threat mitigation.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior stakeholders, translating complex findings into actionable recommendations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, transformation, and interpretation
• Experience with big data frameworks such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and proficiency in SQL
• Familiarity with statistical techniques including regression, distributions, and hypothesis testing
• Highly analytical with excellent communication and presentation skills, a fast learner, and self-motivated to quickly adapt to new technologies and domains.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and applications relevant certifications.
• Familiar with Computer Networking, Network Security, or System Security.
