Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Define and direct cyber security initiatives that can improve security posture of the organisation.
- Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals ensuring cyber program implementation consistently and effectively across the organisation.
- Monitor threat landscape and enhance technologies to reinforce cyber defenses in prevention, detection, and remediation.
- Monitor threats, vulnerabilities relating to organisation and ensure risks are proactively identified and appropriately mitigated.
- Collaborate closely with other IT functions to address complex cybersecurity challenges, identifying key threats, conducting risk analysis, and formulating mitigation strategies.
- Establish and drive continuous improvement of end-to-end threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management processes.
- Lead response and remediation efforts for complex security threats or platform vulnerabilities.
- Oversee the investigation of major cyber security incidents within the organisation and drive the continuous improvement of the processes to enhance cyber program effectiveness.
- Ensure regulatory and compliance adherence across global frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CCoP, PDPA, GDPR).
- Ensure the team stays updated with the latest advancements in cybersecurity technologies, global threat landscape and regulatory developments.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, and at least 5 years in management role, preferably in multinational or critical infrastructure environments.
- Possession of a bachelors degree in computer science, Cybersecurity or related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CISM, CRISC) are advantageous.
- Familiarity with common security frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CCoP, PDPA)
- Hands-on experience in security operation, engineering, architecture, and GRC.
- Expertise in cloud, network, application security. Knowledge in OT solutions and security will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to convey complex security issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proven track record in leading and managing diverse teams, promoting continuous improvement.
- Driven and capable of working independently and as part of a leadership team.
