Cyber Security Engineer

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, tools, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Firewalls, SIEM (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight), DLP, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
• Knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), and identity & access management (IAM).
• Experience with vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7) and penetration testing tools (Metasploit, Burp Suite, Wireshark).
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
• Certifications preferred: CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, OSCP.
