Cybersecurity Engineer

Location: Singapore, Hybrid Work Model

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary Range: SGD 100,000 120,000 per annum

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in Singapore. This role focuses on building and scaling offensive security capabilities that help organisations understand their real-world security posture through continuous, real-time assessment.

The successful candidate will combine strong software engineering skills with an interest in offensive security, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale data processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software systems that support offensive security and red team operations.
  • Lead and contribute to research and development initiatives that simulate adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) at scale.
  • Architect, build, and operate scalable, cloud-based infrastructure to support high-volume data ingestion and real-time analysis.
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for processing attack surface and security telemetry.
  • Collaborate with security researchers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Ensure systems are reliable, secure, and performant in production environments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

Requirements:

  • 25 years of professional experience in software engineering, cybersecurity engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience or exposure to offensive security, red teaming, or adversary simulation concepts.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms and experience designing scalable cloud-native systems.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, or similar.
  • Experience building and maintaining data-intensive or distributed systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in ambiguous or fast-moving environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across global teams.

Nice To Have:

  • Hands-on experience with offensive security activities such as red teaming, vulnerability research, or CTF competitions.
  • Experience working with large datasets or big data technologies for security analysis.
  • Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and weaknesses across application, network, and cloud security domains.
  • Familiarity with modern DevOps or cloud-native tooling.
