We are partnering with a leading financial institution to hire a senior Cyber Security Architect who will play a key role in shaping secure technology decisions across a complex enterprise environment. This role is suited to a hands-on Cyber Security Architect who can engage confidently with business and engineering stakeholders, define practical end-to-end solutions, and provide clear architectural direction across strategic change initiatives in a regulated setting
This is a senior role that could go up to ED‑level. This position is based in Singapore.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead security architecture input across major technology and change programmes, ensuring solutions are designed with strong control coverage, resilience, and fit-for-purpose security measures.
- Define and maintain architecture guidance, design principles, and reusable patterns across cloud, infrastructure, application, identity, and data security domains.
- Review proposed solutions and provide effective challenge on design decisions, implementation approaches, and security trade-offs before delivery moves forward.
- Work closely with engineering, delivery, and platform teams to embed secure design thinking into both transformation initiatives and business-as-usual technology changes
- Support governance and risk conversations by translating technical security concerns into practical recommendations for stakeholders across technology and the wider business
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- Extensive experience as a Cyber Security Architect, enterprise security engineer, or solution architect within large and regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge across key security domains such as cloud security, identity and access management, data protection, platform security, and monitoring controls.
- Proven ability to design practical security solutions that balance business requirements, technology constraints, and control expectations
- Good understanding of risk-based architecture, governance practices, and security frameworks commonly used in regulated industries.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence technical teams, project stakeholders, and senior decision-makers.
