Job Description

Position:Cyber Défense Centre Operator

Hierarchy Level: Professional

Functional Family: IT and Digitalisation

Sub Function: Shared Technical Services

Job Description

As a Cyber Défense Centre Operator, you will work in an international team dealing with security incidents and take care of the expansion of IT security. In addition, you will actively develop our Cyber Défense Centre by creating playbooks and processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Detection, assessment and processing of security incidents
  • Monitoring and analysis of the network infrastructure
  • Identify vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation
  • Development of playbooks and processes
  • Further development of our Cyber Défense Centre

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in IT security, ideally within a cyber défense or SOC environment in a multinational, matrixed organization.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in security incident handling and vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and Microsoft 365 Security Suite.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of information security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, TISAX).
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server and desktop environments exposure to Linux is advantageous.
  • Experience with hypervisors, firewall administration, and patch management.
  • Background in digital forensics and log analysis.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively ITIL knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic environments with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills business-level fluency in English.

Additional Requirements:

  • Clean criminal record.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for critical incidents outside standard business hours.
  • Flexibility to travel as required by business needs.
