Customs Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop import/export compliance solutions for key global markets in accordance with destination-country and domestic customs regulatory requirements.

2. Monitor and track global tariff policy developments, interpret tariff policies of various countries, and prepare monthly research reports.

3. Handle inquiries related to unexpected customs incidents based on each country's regulatory requirements, and liaise with local customs authorities and other relevant external departments.

4. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehousing, logistics, and other operational teams to ensure the accuracy of cargo information, standardize processes, and enhance team efficiency.

5. Support business teams in identifying international trade risks and assist in updating relevant contract templates.

6. Manage suppliers, prepare budgets and verify invoices, and identify opportunities to reduce costs.

Job Requirements:

1. At least 3 years of experience in overseas customs operations or international trade.

2. Able to conduct routine cross-border business communication and meetings in both Chinese and English.

3. Strong understanding of customs supervision requirements across various countriesparticularly North America and Southeast Asiawith the ability to accurately assess the impact of policy changes on business operations and develop corresponding mitigation strategies.

4. Familiar with rules of origin and customs valuation.

5. Willing to travel for short-term assignments; strong sense of teamwork, responsibility, and self-motivation.
