Job Description

Customer Support Engineer/ Specialist

Aviation Company @ Changi (Prefer candidate stays in the East)

Working Hours: 8am to 5.30pm

Salary: $4200 to $5500

Department: Programme

Report To: Customer Support Manager

Job Objectives:

  • Support Program and Quality initiatives and activities with a high level of efficiency, integrity, enthusiasm and strive for excellence in all endeavours.

Roles And Responsibilities:

Support SAM customers and ensure customer satisfaction by:

  1. Providing prompt & relevant technical / information assistance to each customer
  2. Gather & communicate customers feedback concerning SAM's product quality, delivery & services to SAM management
  3. Highlight / initiate / lead / execute customer satisfaction activities with other departments

Adhere and abide with all SAM and Customer rules, compliance, quality and safety policies

  1. Ensure & practice good housekeeping
  2. Observe all safety rules of the company and at customer premises
  3. Exercise safety precautions
  4. Use approved, safe methods & procedures while working in the factory premises

Perform failure analysis and prepare failure analysis report for each defective product

  1. To receive training for competency to perform failure analysis
  2. Correctly identify & verify all defective products made by SAM

Defect & Crisis Management

  1. Lead & execute control & containment activities in the event of quality trouble
  2. Be familiar with & exercise proper trouble escalation, if the need arises
  3. Perform on-the-job task when appropriate (as per training planning)

Skills -

  • Hands-on skills is a plus
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in oral and written communications and good interpersonal skill
  • Ability to lead, manage, motivate and negotiate with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, work under pressure and propensity to meet timeline.
  • Team player, adaptive to organizational change and flexible in embracing changes.
  • Possess capacity to multi-task, meticulous to details, analytical and strong commitment to overall job responsibilities.
  • Experience in program/project management or equivalent

Education level -

  • Degree in any Engineering discipline,
  • Those without experience are welcome to apply as Training will be provided
  • Diploma in Engineering discipline with 2 years of engineering experience
