Job Description
What you can expect
Customer Service & Operational Coordination

  • Act as main contact point for customers, ensuring smooth communication with internal teams, subcontractors, and overseas offices
  • Assist customers during booking stage and provide timely shipment updates based on requirements
  • Handle cross-trade shipments, ensuring clear coordination between Origin, Destination, and customers
  • Verify documentation (e.g. Bills of Lading) to prevent errors or misunderstandings before cargo release
  • Proactively address customer queries and resolve escalations promptly
  • Ensure compliance with operational KPIs, including on-time cargo release, customs submissions, and job closure
  • Monitor and update shipment milestones/status accurately in the system
  • Prepare finance-related documents (AR/AP) and ensure quotation validity before shipment handling
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation collection, completion, and filing prior to vessel arrival
  • Prevent shipment delays due to incomplete or incorrect documentation
  • Coordinate with relevant departments (e.g. trucking, customs brokerage) for smooth operations
  • Monitor payments and review invoices for accuracy in collaboration with Accounting
