We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Customer Service Support to support and enhance our logistics operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment, enjoys problemsolving, and is committed to delivering exceptional service to customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing & Documentation
- Manage end-to-end order processing in line with rating principles and operator requirements.
- Prepare and validate documentation for order processing and cargo movement.
- Execute stock transfers and system transactions in WMS.
- Perform system receipt of cargo and ensure accurate status updates.
Operational Coordination
- Monitor cargo handling schedules to ensure timelines are met.
- Track shipment status and proactively update customers on delays, port congestion, and last-mile issues.
- Liaise with warehouse teams on stock verification, short-ships, and Return Authorizations (RAs).
- Identify operational shortfalls and escalate issues where necessary.
Continuous Improvement & Risk Management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance.
- Recommend practical solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement mitigating actions for service lapses.
- Identify and escalate risks that impact service delivery or productivity.
Reporting & Billing
- Prepare operational and customer reports, including KPI tracking.
- Support billing processes by ensuring accurate charges and documentation.
- Assist with freight quotations when required.
Systems & Technology
- Operate systems and digital tools including SAP, WMS, and other logistics platforms.
- Collaborate with team members on technology and digitization projects.
Safety, Health & Quality
- Comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
- Maintain safety, health, and operational quality standards.
- Report safety concerns and suggest improvements.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
- Prior customer service experience within logistics highly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in WMS, SAP, or similar ERP/logistics systems.
- Strong understanding of logistics documentation (BOL, packing list, commercial invoice).
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Operational Knowledge
- Solid understanding of order management, cargo handling, warehouse operations, and freight processes.
- Knowledge of billing cycles, freight charges, and KPI reporting.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication with strong customerhandling capabilities.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to escalate issues appropriately.
- Detail-oriented with strong planning and time management.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to guide a small team.
- Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and operational quality.
