Job Summary
Manage customer order processing and international shipment coordination for export business in the security seals industry. Ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely deliveries through effective collaboration with customers, factories, forwarders, and shipping lines.
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchase orders and confirm delivery timelines to ensure order accuracy
- Coordinate production schedules with factories to align manufacturing and shipment plans
- Liaise with forwarders and shipping lines to negotiate freight rates and confirm sailing schedules
- Compare freight and courier rates to optimize shipment costs and improve budget efficiency
- Prepare shipping instructions and export documentation including invoices, packing lists, and BL/AWB
- Arrange inspections and manage special shipment requirements to comply with customer and regulatory needs
- Track shipments and provide timely delivery updates to customers to maintain transparency
- Maintain purchase order, quotation, and shipment trackers for accurate operational records
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports to support business performance monitoring
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, or related fields
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in customer service, export, or logistics operations
- Proficient in export documentation and international shipping processes
- Strong organizational and coordination skills demonstrated through managing multiple deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, email communication, and PowerPoint for operational tasks
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Proficient in spoken and written Mandarin to coordinate with factories in China
