The Opportunity:
Adecco is partnering with a Japanese multinational client, and we are currently looking for a Customer Service Executive to join their business. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this position requires the incumbent to handle high-volume of purchase orders and strong grounding in Incoterms, international logistics, and cost control. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who enjoys pace, structure, and responsibility.

- Work hours/days: Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 5:30pm
- South-west region
The Job:
- Coordinate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and freight forwarders.
- Manage daily shipment activities, including generating and sending purchase orders, inputting data into SAP, arranging sailing schedules, and checking invoices and bills of lading.
- Handle supplier and customer relations, managing order backlogs and forecasts.
- Oversee inventory control, focusing on temporary stock and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) stock.
- Conduct cost analysis, with a focus on cargo and logistics costs.
The Talent:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Team player, strong time management and communication skills to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge in import/export (Incoterm, Invoice and Packing List etc)
- Must be comfortable with working overtime and overseas travel (frequency of 20-30% per year)
