Job Description

Purpose of the job

The Order Management Team represents the interface between customer, external sales and operations. The employee ensures that all sales processes are adhered to and is responsible for the order entry and proactive customer relationship management. The goal of the sales process is the correct and speedy entry of the customer's order.

Duties and Tasks

  • Supports the sales process proactively.
  • Receives customers order direct, via the Sales Support and Quotations Team or via external sales.
  • Amends configured products at time of order entry.
  • Order entry.
  • Takes into consideration customs and foreign trade.
  • First contact for all orders - direct business
  • Clarification of delivery queries with regards to orders - direct business.
  • Output: Clarified order to operations.
  • Order monitoring until receipt of payment from customer.
  • Receipt of customer complaints and forwarding these to After Sales Team.
  • Responsible for customer master data and conditions in ERP system.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Customer Service with order or quotation management experience.
  • A level or Diploma.
  • Minimum of three years experience with proven records.

Skills and Abilities

  • Hands-on experience in SAP preferred.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English.
