Job Description: Customer Service Crew
Position: Waiter
Location: Full-Service Restaurant
Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Head Waiter
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items and ingredients.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve meals and beverages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring order accuracy.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Clear and clean tables, reset them for new guests during service hours.
- Handle billing and payment processing accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to deliver a smooth dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas according to health and safety standards.
- Upsell additional menu items and promote specials to increase sales.
- Follow all restaurant policies, hygiene, and safety procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience as a waiter or in customer service preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling orders and payments.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
