Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Assistant/Executive to join our Air Export team. The role involves handling shipment bookings, preparing export documentation, coordinating with customers and internal stakeholders, and ensuring smooth and timely cargo movement with the following job responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute air export shipment bookings.
  • Coordinate with both customers and internal stakeholders to ensure shipment readiness and adherence to delivery schedules.
  • Prepare and process all required documentation, including invoices, reports, permits, and Airway Bills, in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Provide flight details promptly and keep customers updated on freight status and delivery progress.
  • Ensure timely submission of cost approvals, GST billing, and payment collection.
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and effectively, ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in airfreight customer service, co-loading, or related logistics functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fast learner with a proactive attitude and strong sense of accountability.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize workload, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle shipment issues efficiently.
  • A team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
