Job Summary
The role focuses on delivering efficient customer service to both new and existing clients, managing all documentation for export and import shipments, and providing operational support to ensure a smooth flow of cargo. It also requires strong communication with customers and business partners to maintain service quality.
Responsibilities
. Take full responsibility for coordinating all incoming and outgoing shipments based on customer allocation
. Handle and process import and export shipping documents, including Letters of Credit and Dangerous Goods
. Liaise with customers, network offices, transporters, carriers, and other third party vendors
. Manage shipping related enquiries from internal and external customers
. Resolve operational issues encountered within the organisation or with external partners
. Handle invoicing, receipts, and follow up on statements of accounts for timely customer payments
. Provide customised logistics solutions when required
. Source cargo space based on customer requirements
. Deep sell and develop business with assigned existing customers
Requirements
. Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain and Logistics
. Fresh graduates are welcome
. Ability to commit to extended working hours when required
. Familiarity with shipping documentation and carriers
. Dangerous Goods knowledge and documentation experience
