Job Description

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers on products, equipment, and engineering solutions.
  • Investigate customer complaints, quality issues, and product non-conformities using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g. 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis).
  • Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams.
  • Support root cause analysis and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, inspection reports, and technical documentation to support customer requirements.
  • Participate in customer audits, quality reviews, and technical meetings.
  • Prepare customer reports, failure analysis reports, and quality documentation.
  • Monitor customer feedback, KPIs, and service performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and delivery expectations.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI), engineering change requests (ECR/ECO), and process improvement initiatives where required.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in customer support, quality engineering, application engineering, or manufacturing within the precision engineering or semiconductor industry.
