Role Description:
As a Customer Account Executive at Pluvia.ai, you'll sit at the intersection of sales, technology, and customer success helping organizations unlock the power of advanced rainfall prediction to drive real-world decisions.
This is a hybrid role that blends technical B2B sales with post-sale relationship management. You'll own the customer journey end-to-end: guiding prospects through the sales process, aligning technical use cases with our solutions, and supporting long-term value through strategic account growth.
You'll work closely with customers across sectors like logistics, agriculture, utilities, aviation, and insurance industries where rainfall prediction is not just a variable, but a competitive advantage.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Candidates with degrees in technical or scientific disciplines such as Environmental Science, Meteorology, or Data Science are also encouraged to apply
- Equivalent work experience in B2B technology, SaaS, or data-driven industries will also be considered.
- Additional coursework or relevant certifications in sales, climate tech, or geospatial data is a plus
Experience & Technical Skills:
- 25+ years in a customer-facing sales or account management role in B2B SaaS, data services, or technology solutions
- Experience selling or supporting technically complex products ideally involving APIs, data feeds, analytics platforms, or SaaS tools
- Strong understanding of how to translate technical requirements into business value for stakeholders
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools
- Bonus: Experience selling into sectors that rely heavily on environmental or geospatial data (e.g., agriculture, supply chain, insurance, energy)
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams (e.g., product, engineering, data science) to support customer needs
