Ottodot is a Singapore edtech startup offering online Math and Science classes for Primary 16 students. We develop our own Roblox games in-house to make learning hands-on and engaging, with all content aligned to the MOE syllabus.
The Role
We're looking for a Curriculum Lead to own the quality and direction of Math and Science curriculum at Ottodot. Your responsibility is to ensure every student who joins us stays, learns, and comes back.
This is a hands-on lead position 60-70% doing curriculum work directly, 30-40% team leadership and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Own curriculum quality across Primary Math and Science (6 levels each)
- Review and improve lesson content, teacher guides, and learning materials as needed
- Diagnose what's driving or hurting student outcomes using data, and run experiments to address them
- Set direction for a small team of curriculum designers and a Learning Experience Designer, with part-time content developers supporting execution
- Build systems and processes that make the curriculum team more effective over time
Your success is measured by two numbers: 4050% trial conversion rate and 97% retention, sustained throughout the year.
What Would Make You A Great Fit
- 2-3 years of classroom experience in schools or tuition centres
- Strong pedagogy instincts for Singapore primary Math and Science (MOE background helpful but not required)
- Analytically sharp you read data and know what questions to ask next
- Experience managing people, or demonstrated clear potential to do so
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- You enjoy hands-on curriculum work if you'd be relieved to hand off individual contributor work entirely, this role isn't for you
- Comfortable with AI tools and curious about how they can improve how curriculum teams work
- You believe in the power of game-based learning
