CTRM Application Support, Energy Trading Leader (Contract role)

One of the world&aposs largest and most dynamic energy trading firms seeks a talented and bright CTRM Application Support Desktop Support Analyst to join the team. You will get to
-Be a central pillar of support for a diverse global user base, providing crucial day-to-day operational support for their Energy Traders&apos CTRM Application support needs, both on-site and remotely.
-Take ownership of CTRM Application support issues, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring professional, consistent communication with users.
-Diagnose and resolve complex system issues across a range of internally developed and vendor-supplied applications, directly supporting a dynamic trading business.
-Contribute to global projects focused on business growth, innovation, and digital transformation, actively shaping the future of the company&aposs technology landscape.
-Expand your technical horizons by researching and learning new technologies and techniques as needed, staying at the forefront of IT innovation.
-Work in a dynamic hybrid environment that offers flexibility while fostering collaboration.

You will bring your experience of
-At least 5 years of relevant experience in delivering trading Applications support within a complex trading environment supporting Traders on the Tradefloor
-A strong academic background with a degree or equivalent professional qualification.
-CTRM Application experience (commodity trading risk management systems)
-Expertise in diagnosing and remediating system issues within a Microsoft environment (Microsoft Office 365/Windows Server (2016/2019 / a nice to have would be Microsoft Azure experience)
-Outgoing communication and interpersonal skills, capable of clearly and concisely articulating technical information to a variety of audiences.
-Being a self-starter who takes ownership of problems and proactively seeks resolutions.

Ideally, you&aposll also have
-Domain knowledge of energy physical and financial commodities and derivatives.
-Experience with various trading platforms and systems like Allegro Horizon Trading system, Trayport Global Vision/Joule, FXAll, Bloomberg, and Reuters.
