Prepare and cook authentic Chinese cuisine for passengers and crew
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet cruise line standards
Handle high-volume cooking in a fast-paced galley environment
Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures (HACCP)
Manage food preparation, storage, and portion control to reduce wastage
Work closely with the Executive Chef and international kitchen team
Assist with menu execution, special events, and themed dining
Comply with maritime safety rules and onboard operational procedures
Proven experience as a Chinese Cook (restaurant, hotel, or catering background)
Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking styles (e.g. Cantonese, Sichuan, stir-fry, wok skills)
Experience in high-volume or hotel kitchens is highly preferred
Able to work long hours, shifts, and under pressure
Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP preferred)
Team player with good discipline and adaptability to shipboard life
Physically fit and able to work onboard for contract periods
Prior cruise ship experience is an advantage but not mandatory
