At Eni, we are looking for a Cross Commodity Analyst to join Eni Trade & Biofuels (ETB) in Singapore. Sitting within the Crude & Oil Products trading function, you will supporting different teams with analysis related to trading strategies, fundamentals, and price forecasts, among others as per business requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the crude and oil products trading teams with analysis.
  • Perform analysis for the wider function (fundamentals, trading strategy, risk management, price forecasts).
  • Perform economic analysis for opportunities using tools that support trading activities (e.g. Refinitiv Eikon), market data feeds and bespoke analytical tools.
  • Perform research on specific target areas / regions / clients as required.
  • Assist in identifying new business development opportunities.
  • Prepare presentations as required (for use internally and externally).
  • Facilitate the exchange of market news and information within the ETB Singapore team and the London analytics team & Traders as required.

Skills And Experience Required

  • Strong academic credentials with a numeracy-oriented specialisation.
  • Significant experience in the oil & gas industry, ideally within an analytical position.
  • Prior experience with analytics and market research.
  • Proficiency with Python / VBA / Excel, with some knowledge of AI for analytics.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with strong practical problem solving abilities and a results driven mindset.
  • Innovative, proactive and efficient approach to work.
  • Highly organised and detail oriented, with a structured and logical approach.
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder, effective with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborative, adaptable team player, experienced in global environments and able to work independently.
  • Fluent level of English.
