We are partnering with an established ship management company to hire a Crewing Officer to support their fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end crewing operations for assigned vessels
- Maintain and monitor crew deployment and rotation schedules
- Coordinate closely with manning agencies, vessel masters, and port agents for crew changes
- Arrange and manage crew travel logistics, including flight bookings
- Ensure all crew documentation (certificates, medicals, visas) are valid and compliant
- Assist with crew payroll verification, benefits, and allowances
- Review and reconcile operational and crew-related expenses
- Conduct pre-joining briefings and post-assignment debriefings
- Maintain accurate crew records and training documentation
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in shipping /logistics / crewing
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to multitask
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with crewing or ship management systems is an advantage
