Cana Consulting is currently in search of a Credit Risk Specialist, with experience in approval across SME loans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exercise personal Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) to approve, decline, or recommend SME credit applications.
- Conduct deep-dive reviews of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
- Partner with Relationship Managers to structure credit facilities that mitigate identified risks.
- Contribute to the refinement of SME Credit Policies in alignment with MAS guidelines and internal Risk Appetite Statements.
- Assist in the development and UAT of automated credit scoring models and digital onboarding workflows for micro-SMEs.
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years of credit risk experience, with at least 3-5 years specifically focused on the SME segment, with a strong grasp of SME-specific lending products.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data from non-audited management accounts.
- Familiarity with MAS 626 (AML/CFT) and credit-related regulatory frameworks in Singapore.
- Positive attitude and communication skills to defend risk positions and provide constructive feedback to the Business Units.
