Credit Risk, Manager

Our client, a growing and stable organisation in the commodity industry is seeking for Credit Risk, Manager. This is a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the company's credit risk strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and growth ambitions.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of credit analysts, fostering accountability, commercial insight, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with commercial teams to provide credit perspectives that support business growth while mitigating risk.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and legal teams to ensure transactions and structures comply with approved risk parameters.
  • Design and maintain robust credit risk frameworks, covering counterparty evaluation, credit scoring, exposure monitoring, and portfolio management.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making through automation, analytics, and digital credit tools.
  • Monitor market trends and external credit conditions to anticipate and manage emerging risks.
  • Present credit reviews, dashboards, and reports to senior management and relevant committees.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or Engineering.
  • 710 years of relevant experience in the commodities sector, specializing in credit / counter parties risk
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and a proactive, results-driven mindset.
