Credit Control Manager

. Evaluate credit applications and perform credit checks on new and existing customers.
. Manage and liaise with credit insurance to ensure customers credit limits in place
. Assess and prepare internal approvals for credit limits when necessary
. Conduct credit risk analysis and regularly review customer portfolios to minimize bad debt and optimize
receivables
. Handle disputes and negotiate payment arrangements with delinquent customers to recover outstanding
debts
. Ensure credit control processes and procedures are in compliance with company standards and polices
. Supervise the credit control team and work closely with clients and internal business units to resolve dispute
. Timely collections and reduce exposure to potential bad debt
. Recommends to stop delivery to customers who fail to pay promptly
. Recommends to take legal action against problematic customers
. Update the management any credit related development in order to mitigate the credit risk
. Degree or Diploma in Business / Commerce or related field
. Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar function and 3-5 years of managerial experience
. Strong understanding of credit control policies, contact and business law
. Knowledgeable about current economic outlook and situation and kept abreast of overall market credit
performance
. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
. 5 days work week
