Our client is a well-known Japanese consumer electronics company. They are looking for a Credit Control and Accounts Executive in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Organize and conduct regular credit & AR review meetings with Business Units/Sales departments to close out all delinquent accounts.
- Follow up and communicate with customers.
- Review and process new customer account applications.
- Maintain and update particulars and credit limits of customer accounts in SAP.
- Monitor daily sales transactions for credit holds in SAP and communicate with the sales department to address overdue issues.
- Disseminate or circulate invoices, statements of accounts, reminders, and confirmation letters.
- Perform customer account reconciliations and confirmations.
- Prepare regular collections and AR status reports for management and HQ.
- Liaise with the insurer and apply for trade credit insurance for customer accounts with credit terms.
- Liaise with banks in respect of bank guarantees including but not limited to letters of credit.
- Act as key AR and billing liaison person for the overseas shared service centre.
- Check supporting documents to carry out billings to customers.
Requirements & Preferences
(Must)
- Diploma holder in Finance or Accounting
- At least 2 years of Credit Control, Credit Analyst, or Credit Limit experience
- Hands-on experience or knowledge in Letter of Credit
- Proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel) and SAP/Similar ERP systems
- Excellent communication in English and Mandarin to communicate with English and Mandarin customers and insurers
(Advantageous)
- Experience working in the consumer electronics industry or a leasing company would be ideal
