Our client, a well-established bank is seeking a Credit Analyst for its corporate banking business.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive credit analysis on corporates, financial institutions, sovereigns, or structured products
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, capital structures, and industry trends
- Prepare credit reports, investment memos, and recommendations for credit committees
- Assign and maintain internal credit ratings and limits
- Monitor existing credit exposures and identify early warning signals
- Conduct scenario and stress testing to assess downside risks
- Stay informed of macroeconomic developments and regulatory changes impacting credit risk
- Liaise with front office, risk management, compliance, and other stakeholders
- Support portfolio reviews and periodic credit assessments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 3 - 6 years experience in credit analysis, risk management, or related roles
- Strong understanding of credit risk principles and financial modeling
- Proficient in financial statement analysis and valuation techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
- Experience with rating agencies, banks, or asset managers is an advantage
- CFA or equivalent professional qualification is a plus
