Conduct independent credit analysis and reviews on new and existing Corporate Banking and/or Private Banking obligors, with value-added recommendations to mitigate identified risks
Perform credit grading and provisioning for obligors and facilities
Act as Secretary to the Credit Committee, including ensuring quorum requirements are met, taking minutes, and following up on outstanding matters
Monitor loan covenants to ensure ongoing compliance
Monitor adverse news that may negatively impact existing borrowers
Perform regular review, management, and reporting of collateral valuations
Prepare credit reports for the Branch, Head Office, and MAS
Maintain and report on the Loan Watch List
Prepare industry research and credit analysis reports, including reviews of industry-specific credit criteria and/or guidelines, as and when required
Support Risk Analysts in credit risk monitoring and control, loan portfolio management and review, and portfolio stress testing
Perform any other related duties as assigned by superior
Requirements
Full Time Degree in Business or Finance from a reputable University
Experience as a Credit Analyst in a banking environment is preferred
Proficient in both oral and written English and Chinese, to facilitate communication with Head Office and preparation of reports in Chinese where required
