Role Summary

The Credit Administration Officer supports the day-to-day administration and execution of lending and credit investment transactions.

The role works closely with the Senior Credit Administration team and other internal stakeholders across the transaction lifecycle, including documentation, transaction execution, loan servicing, collateral monitoring and portfolio reporting.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is detail-oriented, organised and interested in developing a career in credit operations and lending.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction & Documentation Support

  • Support the administration and execution of lending and credit investment transactions.
  • Coordinate and maintain transaction documents, checklists and records.
  • Assist with Conditions Precedent (CP) tracking and follow up on outstanding items with relevant parties.
  • Support loan drawdown, settlement and system booking processes.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate transaction records and audit trails.

Loan Servicing & Monitoring

  • Support day-to-day loan administration, including repayments, rollovers, interest and fee processing, and other routine loan activities.
  • Assist with collateral and LTV monitoring and maintain relevant trackers.
  • Support margin call processing and follow-up where required.
  • Monitor key dates such as loan maturities, payment dates and document expiries.
  • Assist with periodic reconciliation and portfolio reporting.

Team & Stakeholder Support

  • Work closely with Senior Credit Administration team members to ensure transactions are processed accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate with Credit Solutions, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Treasury, custodians and other external parties as required.
  • Identify discrepancies or outstanding items and escalate them to the Senior team.
  • Support audit, reporting and other ad hoc credit administration requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in credit operations, loan administration, banking operations, middle office, finance or a related field.
  • Prior experience in lending or credit is preferred but not essential.
  • Good understanding of basic financial concepts and strong numerical ability.
  • Good Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Organised, responsible and comfortable working with multiple deadlines.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop in credit and lending operations.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
