Role Overview
Our client helps brands engage technical audiences through credible creator partnerships and community-led programs. We are looking for a Mandarin-speaking Creator Manager to own creator and community engagement within Chinese-speaking developer and technical communities.This role sits at the intersection of creator management, community building, and audience intelligence. You will discover trusted voices, manage creator relationships end-to-end, and translate community insights into programs that drive consideration and adoption. Because the role centres on Chinese-speaking developer and technical communities, professional proficiency in Mandarin is a genuine requirement of the position, used daily to engage Mandarin-speaking creators, participate in Chinese-language communities, and produce and review bilingual content.
Key Responsibilities
1. Creator Discovery & Relationship Management: You will be the team's expert on Chinese-speaking creator and developer ecosystems.
- Identify creators, contributors, and technical voices across Chinese-language platforms and communities
- Conduct creator research using community participation, content quality, technical credibility, and open-source contribution signals
- Verify creator identity, expertise, and audience relevance before making recommendations
- Build and maintain relationships with creators across key audience segments
- Grow a sustainable creator pipeline that can be activated across multiple campaigns
2. Bilingual Creator Delivery
- Manage creators through the full content development process while ensuring cultural and technical accuracy.
- Translate and adapt campaign briefs, messaging frameworks, and creator guidelines into Mandarin and bilingual formats
- Manage creator communications throughout briefing, content development, review, and publication
- Review content for clarity, accuracy, and audience relevance
- Ensure disclosure and platform compliance requirements are met
- Act as a bridge between internal teams, clients, and creators
3. Community Insight & Audience Intelligence
- Stay close to relevant Chinese-speaking technical communities to identify emerging creators, audience trends, and community insights
- Surface observations and audience signals that improve creator selection and campaign performance
- Translate community insights into programs that drive consideration and adoption
Candidate ProfileRequired Experience
- 2-4 years in creator management, community management, developer marketing, or related fields
- Professional working proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) alongside strong English communication skills required to engage Mandarin-speaking creators and Chinese-language technical communities, and to produce and review Mandarin/bilingual content
- Deep familiarity with Chinese-language social platforms, creator ecosystems, and online communities
- Strong research and verification skills with high attention to detail
- Confidence managing multiple creator relationships and workstreams simultaneously
- An interest in technology, software, startups, or developer audiences
- Comfortable understanding technical content and assessing whether creators are credible practitioners in their field (an engineering background is not required)
Bonus Experience
- Existing relationships within Singapore's Chinese-speaking technology, startup, or open-source communities
- Experience organising community events, workshops, or meetups
- Familiarity with GitHub, open-source ecosystems, or developer-focused research workflows
- Experience working with technical creators or B2B technology brands
