Job Summary
Design quality Creative Writing Curriculum and deliver engaging Creative Writing lessons to primary school students, assess their progress, and collaborate with parents and academic leaders to enhance learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design the Creative Writing Curriculum for the primary levels
- Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum guidelines to ensure effective learning outcomes
- Organise and maintain a structured, task-oriented learning environment that supports student engagement
- Design and implement activities and worksheets incorporating diverse learning approaches to enhance student participation
- Assess student progress regularly and communicate feedback clearly to parents to support student development
- Apply subject knowledge and teaching methodologies to educate students effectively and adapt to their learning needs
- Introduce innovative study patterns to stimulate student interest and maximize engagement in English learning
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong passion for learning the English language among students
- Review feedback from the academic Head of Department and refine teaching practices to support differentiated learning
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Education, English Language, or Literature
- Professional command of the English language
- 3 to 5 years of teaching experience
- Availability to work on weekends
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Passion for teaching English and experience tutoring primary school students (preferred but not mandatory)
- Willingness to develop teaching skills and support students at varying learning levels
- High level of integrity and professionalism
