Purpose of the Position:

Attention all creative operations leaders and strategic visionaries!

We're seeking an experienced Creative Operations & Marketing Manager to lead our dynamic creative operations team and drive integrated marketing initiatives at our innovative communications agency.

As the strategic leader of our creative services and marketing function, you'll be responsible for driving operational excellence across all creative workflows, spearheading integrated marketing campaigns, managing cross-functional teams, and establishing scalable processes that enable our creative talent to deliver exceptional client work efficiently and effectively.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape both the operational backbone and marketing engine of our creative department ensuring seamless project delivery, optimized resource allocation, strategic vendor partnerships, and high-impact marketing programmes while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Operations & Marketing

  • Develop and implement comprehensive creative services and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Design and optimize end-to-end creative workflows, from briefing to delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency at every stage
  • Establish standardized processes for project management, quality control, and client communication
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance creative production capabilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and performance tracking of integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Oversee content marketing programmes, including editorial calendars, thought leadership, and brand storytelling
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity across all touchpoints
  • Manage go-to-market strategies for new service offerings and agency initiatives

Digital Marketing, Analytics & Performance

  • Own digital marketing performance social media, paid campaigns, SEO/SEM, email marketing,
  • Establish creative services and marketing dashboards and KPI frameworks for executive leadership
  • Conduct data-driven analysis to identify operational improvements, marketing optimizations, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Leverage audience analytics and competitive intelligence to refine targeting, content strategy, and marketing spend
  • Lead market research and benchmarking to keep the agency ahead of operational and marketing trends
  • Present strategic recommendations and business cases to senior leadership

Resource, Vendor & Partnership Management

  • Oversee strategic resource planning and allocation across multiple creative teams, projects, and marketing initiatives
  • Develop forecasting models for resource utilization and capacity planning
  • Manage talent acquisition and workforce planning for creative services and marketing functions
  • Lead strategic vendor relationship management, including media suppliers and marketing technology providers
  • Develop comprehensive vendor evaluation, onboarding, and performance management frameworks
  • Negotiate contracts and establish SLAs with key creative partners, agencies, and suppliers
  • Build and maintain a curated network of specialized creative vendors, freelancers, and martech platforms

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with account leadership to ensure operational excellence and marketing alignment in client delivery
  • Develop client-facing operational processes, service standards, and marketing collateral
  • Manage escalated operational issues and implement corrective action plans
  • Contribute to new business pitches with operational insights, marketing strategies, and capability demonstrations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 47 years of progressive experience in creative operations, marketing management, or agency operations
  • Demonstrated experience managing integrated marketing campaigns, brand programmes, and content strategies
  • Experience in communications, advertising, or marketing agencies strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in marketing platforms such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, Meta Ads Manager, or equivalent, including SEO/SEM tools
  • Experience with creative production tools, digital asset management systems, and project management platforms
  • Strong data analysis and visualization skills (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) with the ability to translate insights into strategy
  • Exceptional communicator with executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker and results-oriented leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen
  • Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced environments, with a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Creative sensibility with a strong eye for brand consistency, marketing effectiveness, and client-service excellence
