This role sits at the heart of our creative performance team — where strategy meets execution, and ideas turn into high-impact content that delivers real results for our clients.
As a Creative Lead in APAC, you'll play a
well-balanced role across client engagement, creative strategy, and education. While still client-facing, this position places equal emphasis on shaping ideas, guiding internal and external stakeholders, and elevating creative understanding across markets.
The specific focus of this role reflects the regional needs — combining hands-on ideation, strategic thinking, and the ability to educate and influence clients at different levels of digital maturity.
Responsibilities
- Represent the creative voice in client-facing meetings and presentations.
- Own the creative ideation process from the brief, ensuring concepts are innovative, platform-native, and strategically sound.
- Lead the development of Spotify-first ideas that translate client needs into impactful campaign solutions.
- Provide real-time creative consultancy in sales conversations, helping elevate opportunities and accelerate decision-making.
- Develop Flash Ideas and tailored creative proposals aligned with Spotify's formats, audience behavior, and business objectives.
- Partner with sales and strategy teams to deliver Creative Assessments, providing clear and actionable recommendations to improve performance and platform alignment.
- Collaborate with strategists, producers, and designers to ensure ideas are feasible and ready for execution.
- Proactively identify opportunities to introduce new ideas, formats, or approaches that unlock incremental revenue.
- Operates in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, supporting both ad-hoc and proactive opportunities across multiple markets.
- Strong ability to adapt ideas to different client maturity levels and market dynamics.
- Leverage Aleph Creative Studio to develop audio prototypes and creative explorations that enhance ideation and support client conversations.

What You Will Need
- Strong cultural understanding of APAC markets, ensuring ideas are locally relevant and impactful.
- Native Mandarin speakers are required to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders in key markets.
- Fluent English is also required.
- Strong client-facing presence, with the ability to lead conversations with senior stakeholders.
- Strong experience in creative concept development for digital, audio-first, or platform-driven environments.
- Deep understanding of Spotify's ad formats, audience dynamics, and platform-specific creative potential.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on creative capabilities across multiple industries and brand voices.
- Strong storytelling, conceptual thinking, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable operating in client-facing environments, providing live creative input and consultancy.
- Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and guide execution with creative integrity.
- Proactive mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive creative innovation.
