The Role:
The Creative Lead will drive the creative output across multiple F&B brands—owning both editorial storytelling and visual execution at a high standard. You will be expected to personally contribute significant creative work, particularly in writing, copy development, and content direction, while leading the team to deliver consistently strong outputs.
While you will shape and elevate brand expression, this role operates within established brand frameworks (both in-house and licensed brands). Success in this role requires the ability to interpret, respect, and refine existing brand guidelines, and not necessarily to rebuild brands from scratch.
What You'll Own:
1. Creative Direction & Brand Stewardship
- Lead the creative direction across all F&B brands, ensuring clarity, consistency, and differentiation within established brand identities
- Develop and refine brand storytelling, tone of voice, and editorial direction across all channels driving consistency and impact
- Translate marketing and business objectives into clear, insight-driven creative strategies and outputs
- Work within and uphold existing brand guidelines, including those from licensed partners, ensuring compliance while elevating quality
- Identify opportunities to evolve and strengthen brand expression incrementally, without redefining core identities
- Establish and maintain practical brand playbooks and writing guidelines for scalability and consistency
2. Team Leadership & Culture
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of designers and creatives
- Set clear expectations for output quality, speed, and accountability
- Foster a culture that balances creative thinking with executional discipline
- Provide clear, actionable feedback, particularly on writing and conceptual work
- Ensure strong alignment and communication across internal stakeholders
3. Hands-On Creative Excellence (Editorial + Design)
- Take an active, hands-on role in copywriting, editing, and content development across campaigns and always-on channels
- Contribute to concept development, art direction, and design work where required
- Oversee and directly contribute to key deliverables including:
- Campaign copy and messaging
- Social and digital content
- Menus and in-store communications
- Packaging and customer touchpoints
4. Campaigns & Execution
- Lead the development and rollout of integrated campaigns across digital, social, and in-store channels
- Ensure ideas are practical, executable, and aligned with operational realities
- Adapt creative approaches across different brand tiers, concepts, and target audiences
- Maintain a strong focus on content velocity and consistency, not just big campaign moments
5. Cross-Functional Impact
- Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and external partners to ensure seamless execution on the ground
- Align creative output with customer experience and commercial goals
- Improve workflows and processes to support high-volume, high-quality content production
What We're Looking For:
- 5–8+ years in a creative role, with experience leading teams
- Background in F&B or agency experience managing F&B clients
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both writing (editorial/copy) and design capability
- Proven ability to produce high-quality work under tight timelines and high volume
- Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong editorial instinct
- Comfortable working within structured brand systems and external brand guidelines
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple brands and ongoing deliverables simultaneously
