The role

Now about the role - the designer will provide art direction, illustration and graphic design work across our portfolio of accounts with the following scope of work.

• Providing art direction, graphic design, Illustration and layout of social media content across all formats across ATL/BTL, digital and social formats ranging from static, animation, photography, web development and video productions for our production subsidiary UNMASTERED and our in-house cafe/art gallery Main Street Commissary, amongst other creative properties
• Storyboarding, conceptualising & design of style frames for animation/production content for production
• Ensure output matches the brand intent and messaging as well as the level of quality agency work should entail
• Art direction for all visual communication related work be it internal merchandise projects or photography/production work
• Support the team in matters of conceptualisation and ideation across all forms of social media & creative content
• Regularly present creative campaigns to clients
• Prepare design solutions for internal and external presentations
• Participate in the entire production process to ensure integrity of final product (print, video, or digital production).

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent
• Keen sense of aesthetic design, colour and typography
• Have a strong design portfolio (preferably showcased online)
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Freehand
• Knowledge in Web design is an advantage.
• A good eye for photography
• Being well-tuned to popular culture, new design trends and techniques
• Able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively.
